SSS.6.224 - Resilient Suppressors Putnik and 7.62x39mm Automatic AK-Pattern Rifles (Free Version)

The Resilient Suppressors Putnik is a specialized AK platform-specific 7.62 mm rifle silencer that is HUB compatible and may be used on a variety of host weapons. The high flow rate, large expansion volume, and forward-directing vent array in the Putnik all function to increase its efficiency as barrel lengths decrease. On systems that have the propensity for significant ejection port blast hazards, like the AK platform, the Putnik produces less human hazard accompanied by a quantified lower frequency response that is typically subjectively interpreted as a “deep tone.”  It is likely that users will find the Putnik to provide relatively high suppression performance with standard AK rifle platforms, when compared to several other 30 caliber silencers.

In this review, the Resilient Suppressors Putnik performance metrics depend upon suppressing a supersonic centerfire rifle cartridge on two AK-pattern gas-operated rifles, which is an incredibly difficult task. How would the Resilient Suppressors Putnik perform on your Bulgarian AK-pattern rifle with a 16.3-in or 12.6-in barrel?

SSS.6.204 - Otter Creek Labs Infinity and 7.62x39mm Automatic AK-Pattern Rifles (Free Version)

The Otter Creek Labs Infinity is a severe-use mid-size 30 caliber rifle silencer with an advanced but flexible hybrid design. In the role of a 7.62x39mm AK-pattern rifle silencer, it is considered full-size. The silencer is user-configurable for different blast load flow states and allows the operator to adapt the system to a variety of host weapons. With a high early-time flow rate, the silencer is well suited to reduce system back pressure. When utilizing its vented 7.62 end cap that increases late-time flow rate significantly, the Infinity performs well on standard untuned AK rifles and produces balanced and efficient performance, regardless of barrel length. The Infinity is 3D-printed from Inconel alloy and is expected to offer significant durability for hard use.

In this review, the Otter Creek Labs Infinity performance metrics depend upon suppressing a supersonic centerfire rifle cartridge on two AK-pattern gas-operated rifles, which is an incredibly difficult task. SSS.6.201 - Dead Air Wolverine and 7.62x39mm Automatic AK-Pattern Rifles (Free Version)

The Dead Air Wolverine is a modern tribute to the Soviet Pribor Besshumnoy Stryelbiy (PBS) silencer system and is intended to suppress weapons of Soviet origin, such as several AK-pattern rifle variants with semiautomatic and automatic fire.  Unlike the original PBS silencer design(s) the Wolverine uses modern baffle technology, materials, and construction.  However, when compared to the current state of the art, the Wolverine’s internal design is relatively conventional.  The signature suppression performance of the Wolverine, and its personnel hazard reduction, is relatively low when compared to many modern rifle silencers.

In this review, the Dead Air Wolverine performance metrics depend upon suppressing a supersonic centerfire rifle cartridge on three AK-pattern gas-operated rifles, which is an incredibly difficult task. How would the Dead Air Wolverine perform on your Bulgarian or Yugoslavian AK-pattern rifle with a 16.3-in or 12.6-in barrel?
