We have been informed, by the PEW Science member who loaned us the Velos, that it does not, in fact, also come with the direct thread mount. They had included both mounts in the box in case we wanted to test it with both. We chose the direct thread mount for testing based on the logic of having used the same type of mount with the Saker 556 previously, along with some gas dynamics factors, as discussed on the podcast. Sorry folks - didn't realize the direct thread mount was not included!
